Yuzu
A citrus fruit which originated in East Asia, is used almost exclusively for its aromatic rind. The Yuzu is about the size of a tangerine, it has an aroma that is distinct from lemons, limes or any other Western citrus fruit. The fruit looks like a very small grapefruit with an uneven skinand it can be yellow or green depending on the degree of ripness.
We serve the Yuzu as a sorbet to accompany our mackerel starter on our a la carte and taste menus.
Our a la carte menu showcases an ever changing array of sublime ingredients and enhanced flavours, utilising great seasonal produce from the UK and further afield. Available for lunch, Monday to Friday, and dinner, Monday to Thursday, for tables of up to eight guests.
